Code of Conduct

Our undertaking

As an AMFI-registered Mutual Fund Distributor and an APMI-registered Portfolio Management Service provider, Pyrramid Wealth Distributors adheres to the AMFI Guidelines and Norms for Intermediaries, the Code of Conduct prescribed for distributors, and the APMI code applicable to distributors of portfolio management services. The principles set out below govern how our team deals with every investor.

Conduct with investors

• Provide full and accurate information about scheme features, load structures and risk factors
• Disclose the commission we receive, in both trail and upfront form, where an investor asks
• Never make any assurance, guarantee or projection about the return of any scheme
• Never place an investor in a scheme for the distributor's benefit rather than the investor's stated requirement
• Never induce an investor to switch schemes where the switch serves no purpose for the investor
• Never accept cash, or funds in any personal or firm account, towards an investment

Documentation and records

• Submit complete, correctly filled and properly signed application forms
• Never submit a form that an investor has signed while blank or incomplete
• Provide the investor with acknowledgement of every document and instruction received
• Preserve investor records in a secure manner for the period required by regulation

Confidentiality

Investor information is used only for the purpose for which it was collected, and is shared only with product manufacturers, registrars and regulators as required to execute a service. No investor information is disclosed to any other person without consent or a legal obligation.

Professional conduct

• Maintain a valid AMFI Registration Number and APMI registration, and complete required certification and renewal
• Do not disparage any other intermediary, asset management company or scheme
• Do not carry on any activity reserved for a registration we do not hold
• Co-operate fully with any enquiry or inspection by AMFI, SEBI or any other authority

Reporting a breach

If any member of our team acts contrary to this code, please inform the compliance contact published on our Grievance Redressal page. Every such report is examined and responded to in writing.
